
Our Story




Wilcom's Inn, once a historic roadhouse, has been transformed into a sophisticated international steakhouse, offering a fresh take on classic dining with bold, globally inspired flavors. The new restaurant was the vision of the Fuster family, known for their deep roots in the hospitality industry and passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
At the heart of this exciting new venture are Carlos and Karla Rabanales. Carlos grew up immersed in the restaurant world, learning the ins and outs of the industry under the mentorship of his father, Allan Rabanales, a prominent figure in Bethesda’s culinary and real estate scenes. Allan established several successful restaurants, including Volare, a refined Italian eatery; Old Georgetown Grill, known for its American-Greek fusion; and the management of the beloved Positano, a staple of upscale Italian dining.

Now, Carlos and Karla are building on that legacy with a fresh, global vision. Karla brings her own strengths to the table, combining a sharp eye for detail with a passion for hospitality, helping to shape an experience that’s both welcoming and unforgettable.
Each member of the family contributes to its success—our children included. Chuck has been an integral part of our kitchen for the past four years, honing his skills and perfecting the distinct, signature flavors that have become a hallmark of Wilcom’s Inn. Our daughter, Michelle, and daughter-in-law, Debbie, play key roles in our service staff, ensuring every guest receives exceptional care and attention during their dining experience.
